About DM Health Consultancy

DM Health Consultancy was founded by Darren Mills in 2021.

Darren is a registered Operating Department Practitioner with over 20 years experience in both the NHS and Independent Sector. 

After opening the Operating Theatres at the brand new Spire Nottingham Hospital in 2017 and managing the department for 2 years during which time the through put of patient’s regularly exceeded 500 per month and the hospital achieved an ‘Outstanding’ rating by the CQC, Darren had a goal of setting up a business where he could use the valuable experiences he has gained to help other new build projects as well as established Hospitals to expand their services and deliver high level healthcare.

Darren has extensive experience in Operating Theatre Management and Decontamination of Surgical Instruments along with a proven record in Theatre Utilisation and Process Management.

In recent years Darren has also undertaken and achieved the bond Solon and Cardiff University certificate in ‘Civil Expert Witness’.
